Descriptions:

Look at this incredible sight the world’s largest spider web, spread across 106 square metres. It was built by more than 1,11,000 spiders, and the most astonishing part is that two rival species worked together to create it. This is the first time such collaboration has ever been discovered.

What surprised me the most is this: even tiny insects understand competition, yet they also know when to collaborate for a bigger outcome. But in business, the word competition often pulls many people down.

Competition is good but only when it is healthy. The moment we convert competition into collaboration, both our business and the businesses around us start to grow. We don’t need to take every project or try to do everything ourselves. When we take what we need and share the rest, others will do the same when opportunities come to them.

With this mindset, our marketing costs will reduce because our collaborators indirectly become our sales force. Enquiries will flow in continuously, and business will keep growing.

Just like these spiders, if we adopt the mindset of collaboration, our businesses can grow stronger and faster. That’s what I believe. What do you think?
