Everyone knows what a filter is, it’s a well-known term. In the past, there was a rapid gravity filter. So, this was used by Metro Water.
It requires a lot of space, it has a lot of man-hour operations. The next version of it is called a pressure filter. So, what does this pressure filter do? It has different grades of media inside it.
The water passes through it. So, if it just passes through, it’s a rapid gravity filter. It comes at its own pressure. The filtration doesn’t happen there. This is where the pressure functions.
So, at that point, when we use a pressure pump to boost the pressure and pass the water, the filter media that we have packed inside becomes compact. When it becomes compact, when the water passes through it and the liquid comes, all its particles settle on top. So, filtered water will come down. This is the function of this filter.
So, now, when the process continues in this filter, it has a duration. 3 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours. In those hours, the flow of that water can be changed directly. So, when it changes like that, the deposited particles and dirt on top will come out. This is called a pressure filter.
